The services outlined below are offered to residential and commercial clients. I also welcome the chance to work with other landscapers who do not offer these services to provide them with designs to create a visual aid for them to use with their clients to make sure they are all on the same page. Drawings and documents can be created with the landscapers company logo on if required.

Design Consultation-

​

During this meeting I will take a full brief of your needs. I will review the house and garden style and note the location, access and levels. We can discuss suggestions on how the garden can be improved to suit your requirements. 

Note: Due to recent COVID restrictions this stage can be done remotely if preferred, where appropriate information can be supplied.

Following the initial consultation, a quotation for design works will be submitted.

Survey -

​

I will complete a full survey of your garden. This allows me to draw an accurate scale drawing. A drawing is essential for accurately placing individual items such as paths, buildings, trees or beds. In the survey, I will measure the garden, including its relationship to the house, access points, doors and windows, as well as any other buildings. I will also note the aspect, views and various gradients. I will plot where major beds or trees are currently located. If requested I can also take soil samples for analysis, and with your permission take photographs.

Initial Designs-

​

The Initial Designs will show how the new garden will look. They will include the agreed features, such as pond, pergola or beds etc. Garden design is an interactive process in which your ideas are important. You may therefore want to make changes to the Initial Designs. I will incorporate them into the Final Designs.

Final Designs-

 

The Final Designs are the agreed design which will be submitted for your approval prior to compiling the Design Package.

Design Package-

​

The Design Package will contain the Final Designs in Rendered 3D and 2D format. This is what the contractors can quote from. This will include any additional details required for quotation purposes and any specifics on hard landscaping materials required.

Planting Plan-

 

If requested a planting plan will be supplied and will detail the numbers and types of plants to be planted. This will ensure that you get plants that flower throughout the year, and that the plants are suitable for your environment and your garden conditions.
